PURCHASING STAFF
We are looking for a Purchasing Staff to be assigned in Pasig City. You will be responsible for the efficient and timely procurement of quality goods at competitive prices. You will also be maintaining good relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and making sure that operations will run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential local and international suppliers; request and compare quotes to ensure the best value.
- Process purchase orders (POs) and track deliveries to ensure items arrive on time and meet quality specifications.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize company budget and cash flow.
- Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance in the company database.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and local Philippine business regulations.
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- With at least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or canvassing.
- With strong negotiation and communication skills (English and Tagalog).
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- With attention to detail and organizational skills.
